Vingolf 2: Valkyria Chronicles ~ Preview 2

Greetings, rulers! Valkyria Chronicles previews continue with our second set of cards! Today we’ll be focusing on Riela Marcellis, the fire ruler, and several other fire attribute cards.

Riela’s got a pretty heft Judgment cost, but it will drop for each Nameless resonator you control. Once she hits the field, she can gain swiftness as long as her friend Kurt Irving is in your field and she’ll hit resonator for 1000 damage.

Behold the world’s first tank regalia. Nameless Tank recovers every time you play a Nameless card, meaning you can use this card’s abilities more than once per turn. This card can shoot a resonator for a little damage or beef up your J-ruler.

Addition J/resonators are rare in Force of Will, but Valkyria Chronicles is full of them! Riela’s Lance grants the added J/resonator an extra 1000 ATK. Now that’s some power!

Two Nameless resonators for a Riela deck. Alfons will force a resonator to block your next attack while Amy cannot be attacked.

Here’s an interesting card. Bombardment will deal 600 damage to a player or resonator. With thunder rotating out of New Frontiers this might be a must have for decks hoping to deal burn damage.

Two more Nameless (and Military) resonators! Leila can rest herself to increase the ATK of a resonator until end of turn or (for a little extra) deal damage equal to her ATK to a resonator. Combo with Volga, anyone? Gusurg’s got some hefty stats, but no abilities, so find a way to get him out quick so he can start attacking!
